Meet the Founders of Iceberg Media

Ze Weng Wong

I am a self taught photographer with a background in Marketing and eCommerce. I have gained over 12 years of professional experience as a photographer, having won numerous State and National Awards at the AIPP. I love photography as it gives me the ability to record real emotions and connecting with people. It gives me the freedom to be artistic and express my vision. I enjoy being able to not only connect with my clients and record their moments, but also freezing time through the frames that I capture. I think this is the true beauty behind it.

Andrea Bernardino

I have a background in Screen Arts (Film and Television) and trained in the Philippines in 2013 for Corporate and Wedding Videography. Since then, I have worked as a professional corporate, events and wedding videographer. When I was younger, I would create slideshows with photos, animation and music on it. The finished product brought tears to my eyes and that’s when I realised I wanted to make others feel the same way. Over the years, I found film to be the best avenue for me to provoke emotions whilst expressing my creative vision.

Matt Lim

I began taking photography seriously in 2014. Since then, I have taken photos at numerous weddings and events. I enjoyed capturing the beauty I saw all around me and wanted to share it with others. I think there is something special about photography, putting a bit of yourself into what you do that stirs a particular emotion in the people around you. The art of photography is like this quote, “As words can unleash one's imagination in a book, light can unleash one's imagination in a picture.”

Meet the Team

Pia Barrera Photography was always a hobby for me. When I began taking it more seriously, I loved it even more because you could capture memories and people smiling in front of the camera even when they are not in the mood. I initially thought film was another way to venture like photography, but after assisting a friend, I became opened to learning how to film from there. I particularly love filming and editing corporate projects, every project is unique and allows me to be more creative.

Gee Chaney I developed a passion for photography in high school, creating short films and music videos with my friends. I didn’t enjoy subjects like Chemistry or studying in school and I saw art as freedom to be creative. The thing I enjoy most about being a photographer/ videographer is that I get to meet different kinds of people. Whether it is through corporate or nightlife events, there are so many people I get the opportunity to network with. I am excited to see where my creative abilities take me in this field.

Jen David I am currently a student studying a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Screen Arts. I was initially drawn to photography as it gave me the ability to pay attention to details within and without the camera. It has allowed me to see beyond my own interpretation of the world and appreciate the smaller details we often don’t see. I love creating films as I can preserve and imitate emotions and memories. It is such a powerful method of communication between the artist and the audience.

Jheneil Sunga I loved the idea of capturing moments that would later become treasures as we get older and this is what inspired me to do photography. My passion for film was ignited when I started watching behind the scenes footage of my favourite movies. Since working on various projects, my favourite equipment to use on set is the monopod because it’s very versatile. You can have the hand-held look and at the same time have a steady shot.

Rebeca Fortes I actually didn’t think about studying media and screen until I visited a movie set and fell in love for this art. Because of experience, I enrolled to a university and discovered so many possibilities and talents I had hidden. My first experience in movies was as the producer and I spent 3 years developing my organisation and management skills. After that, I decided it was time to do something more creative and I started a job as a director’s assistant, and then became director of some contents in a YouTube channel. The gimbal is my favourite equipment. I love the way it can make a smooth and steady image even though you are in movement. With a slow motion image it makes the perfect combo.

Wannawat Ratnontanat (GGun) Since studying media in year 10, I instantly knew that I wanted to do something in film, TV or photography one day. My favourite equipment in photography is the lens because every one of them has its own unique functions and there a lot of beauty in each photo from each lens (especially prime lens).

Michael Angelo Monzon I was introduced to photography when I worked as a lighting assistant in the Philippines and then bought my own kit lens to do photography. My favourite piece of equipment to use is the Sony A7sII. I believe the low light function allows me to challenge myself to experiment with creative shots.
