How to reflect on criticism and grow in your career

For almost every artist or profession out there, whether you may be a photographer, graphic designer or business person, there’s always going to be criticism. And we know, it can be deflating to hear negative criticism. But the one thing we’ve learnt is that you can’t grow and get better at what you do without a bit of feedback and criticism. This may come from your employer, clients or the public for instance. Let this motivate you to get better.

It’s ok to make mistakes, no one is perfect. Keep open minded when taking on board critiques. Criticism may knock back your confidence in the short term, but in the long term, it shows how much you've grown. The important thing here is to bounce back up, to keep going and pursue your aspirations.

In our team, we are constantly giving feedback and learning from each other to improve and grow as individual artists, and as a team. This is something we are proud of, supporting each other’s growth.
